Sirena Resort Curaçao is a modern, luxury resort in Curaçao that is entering an exciting phase of growth. With newly developed and upgraded apartments, one of the largest resort swimming pools on the island, and an extensive range of facilities, we are looking for an energetic, creative and commercially driven Sales, Marketing & PR Specialist to help take our brand awareness, commercial position and occupancy to the next level.

This is a hands-on, dynamic and diverse position combining sales, marketing, partnerships, public relations, social media and content creation.

We are looking for someone who does not just promote the resort, but actively generates new business, develops valuable partnerships and creates campaigns that convert interest into actual bookings.

You will actively develop new business opportunities and strengthen Sirena Resort Curaçao's commercial network.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Building and maintaining relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, online travel agencies (OTAs), corporate clients and other tourism partners;
• Developing partnerships with airlines, travel organizations, local businesses, restaurants, attractions and event organizers;
• Identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities in Curaçao and international markets;
• Increasing direct bookings and developing new distribution and sales channels;
• Creating opportunities for group bookings, corporate stays, sports groups and special events;
• Establishing and managing collaborations with influencers, content creators and brand ambassadors;
• Representing Sirena Resort Curaçao at travel fairs, networking events and other promotional activities;
• Developing attractive packages, promotions and strategic partnerships.

You will play an important role in strengthening and further developing the Sirena Resort Curaçao brand across all relevant marketing and communication channels.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and executing creative marketing campaigns and promotional activities;
• Managing and growing our social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram and TikTok;
• Creating engaging posts, Reels, Stories and other digital content;
• Producing professional visual materials using Canva and/or Photoshop;
• Coordinating photography and video productions that bring the unique Sirena Resort experience to life;
• Maintaining a consistent, professional and recognizable brand identity across all communications;
• Supporting website content, promotions and direct-booking campaigns;
• Creating newsletters, brochures, advertisements and other marketing materials;
• Monitoring campaign performance and proposing improvements to increase reach, conversion and overall effectiveness.

You will actively contribute to increasing the visibility, reputation and appeal of Sirena Resort Curaçao.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Building and maintaining relationships with local and international media;
• Writing press releases, news articles and promotional stories;
• Organizing press visits, influencer stays and promotional events;
• Identifying opportunities to generate positive media exposure for the resort;
• Promoting new facilities, special offers, events and partnerships;
• Helping position Sirena Resort Curaçao as one of Curaçao's most attractive resorts for families, couples, groups and international travelers.

We are looking for a creative, commercially minded and professional individual who enjoys taking initiative, identifying opportunities and achieving results.

You are an excellent communicator, independent, enthusiastic and comfortable working both behind the scenes and directly with clients and business partners.

You:

• Speak and write Dutch and English fluently;
• Have knowledge of Papiamentu and/or Spanish, which is considered a strong advantage;
• Have experience in or a strong interest in sales, marketing, PR, tourism or hospitality;
• Are comfortable working with Canva, Photoshop and social media management tools;
• Are familiar with platforms such as Meta Business Suite, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Reels;
• Have excellent communication, writing and visual content creation skills;
• Are commercially minded and confident in proactively approaching potential clients and business partners;
• Can work independently, take initiative and assume responsibility for projects;
• Are creative, energetic, proactive and results-oriented;
• Have a higher professional education level (HBO or equivalent), preferably in marketing, communications, commercial economics, tourism or hospitality;
• Live in Curaçao or are willing to relocate or stay in Curaçao for the position.
• Experience within the hotel, resort, travel or tourism industry is an advantage.
